Artist History:
Alabama artist Anetta Nichols portrays happiness
through the style and colors of her canvass. Children
playing in a field or graceful florals are typical subject
matter found in Anetta's work. She became
interested in art as a young child, and went on to study
with Raymond MacMahon at Birmingham Southern
College, and Louise Cone. Anetta has drawn at Jefferson
State Junior College, and participated in workshops
with nationally known artists. Her studies moved her from
painting primarily landscapes and structures to figures,
especially children. Anetta's work has been shown
throughout the United States, and she has
been awarded over 100 awards. Her art is included in
private and corporate collections around the world.

"beyond the scope of television thinking." Andrew went on to work projectssuch as Airwolf and Back

Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Meaning
NCC (Unofficially known 'Navel Construction Contract') was chosen by analogy to modern civil aircraft identification codes.

(1701) The registry number (1701) of the ship was chosen to be easily visible at a glance by television viewers.

Fictional Star Trek History
In the fictional universe of Star Trek, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) was the ship in the Original NBC TV series Star
Trek, which chronicled the vessels most famous assignment, a five year mission of exploration of diplomacy under Captain
James T. Kirk's command. It is the first Federation starship to bear the name Enterprise.
Following the destruction of the NCC-1701, Kirk & his officers were instrumental in saving Earth from a mysterious probe (as
chronicled in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home).  As a reward, Kirk (who was demoted to captain as punishment for disobeying
orders & taking the NCC-1701 to the Genesis Planet) was given command of a new U.S.S. Enterprise, a virtually identical (from
the outside)) vessel with the registry number NCC-1701A. This began a long tradition of continuing the NCC-1701 registry
number through successive generations of Enterprise which in some timelines continues until at least the 26th Century.

Artist  Biography : Maud Tousey Fangel 1881-1968
Maud Tousey Fangel was born on Jan. 1st. 1881, the
daughter of a professor. She began drawing in earnest
when she was a teenager & studied at Boston's School
of fine arts. Soon she was presenting her portfolio to
the art director of
Good Housekeeping, Guy Fangel,
who gaveher her first commercial assignments & later
proposed marriage to her. Their son , Lloyd, began
Maud Fangel's fascination with drawing babies. She
did more than 1500 pictures of him, before he was
three.
And later she would immortalize his face as the
boy on the Cracker Jack Box.
Many of her pictures
were done with pastels, which allowed her to capture
the movements of her young subjects. Most of her
models were children from poor families, from
orphanages. Unaware of this, one newspaper referred
to these children as "glamor babies".
